Safe, convenient, and fun…these are just a few words that are used to describe the experience our residents get from living on campus. Here at the University of St. Thomas, we want out students to excel inside and outside the classroom and what better way to know what’s going on at our campus than to live there.

Residence Life
Studies have shown that students who choose to live on campus have better grades, are more involved in the campus community, and can transition easier into the university culture. The Department of Residence Life has dedicated staff to help students do just that while learning to become independent and responsible throughout your college years in Guinan Hall. Area Coordinators, Resident Assistants, and Sophomore Advisors are placed in Guinan Hall to encourage student success and building great communities.

Augustine Hall
The Augustine Hall Living-Learning Community is an alternative campus housing option under the direction of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. Students who opt to live in Augustine Hall commit to building community with residents and staff by participating in a weekly dinner, discussion, and liturgy, by engaging in service through campus ministry and Catholic Charities, and by exploring their environment together in monthly excursions. First year students take three of their academic courses together in order to support one another's intellectual formation. Two or three residents share condo-style apartments around an inner courtyard.
