Graduate Student profile
Cameron School of Business graduate students have a diverse background. An average MBA/MSA student attending the Cameron School of Business is working full time and has at least four years of working experience. The majority of our MBA/MSA students have business background; however, a number of our MBA students received bachelor degrees in other fields, e.g. engineering, nursing, education, liberal arts, and pharmaceutical. The average undergraduate GPA of our students is a 3.2 and the average GMAT score is 500. The flexibility of our classes allows our students to graduate with an MBA/MSA degree in six semesters.
Our MBA/MSA graduates are recruited by companies in oil and gas (e.g., CenterPoint Energy, Shell, Chevron, Marathon Oil Company), healthcare (e.g., Methodist Hospital System, Allied Health Resources) financial services (e.g., Amerigroup, Prudential Insurance, Global Financial Services), banking (e.g., Sterling Bank, Trustmark National Bank, Bank of America), accounting (e.g., Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, Deloitte, Ernst & Young) and other industries (e.g., Tyco International, .Coca-Cola Enterprises, Copper Industries). |
