About School of Education
The School of Education offers a comprehensive teacher preparation program that leads to the development of quality teachers and school leaders in a way that collaboratively:

About the Dean
Dr. Robert LeBlanc completed his undergraduate degree at the University of St. Thomas. He has served as an Associate Professor for Educational Leadership and as the Associate Dean for the School of Education. Dean LeBlanc received both M.Ed. and Ed.D. degrees from the University of Houston in curriculum and instruction. Following teaching and department chairperson responsibilities, he became an administrator and worked in a variety of administrative positions, last serving as the associate superintendent for instruction and student services in the Klein Independent School District.
During his career he has received numerous professional awards including a Special Recognition Award from the University of Houston and an Educational Leadership Award from the Houston Suburban Chapter of Texas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. He and his wife, Rebecca, are recipients of the University of St. Thomas Alumni Association, Rev. Vincent J. Guinan, CSB Distinguished Alumni Award for 2006. His areas of interest and research are instructional design, education legal issues in K-12 schools and development of ethical problem-solving abilities in current and future school leaders.
